1. Radioamateur FR Boston is a town of average size 53.700 inhabitants It is located in England in the area "East Midlands" at approximately 31 miles of the east of Nottingham and at approximately 94 miles at the North-East of London. The signature of the charter of twinning between Boston and Laval (France) is dated of June 1958. Boston was during several centuries the second most important port of England after that of London and even briefly exceeded it during the 13th century. With the 17th century, the city became the anticonformist point for a new life beyond the Atlantic, in Massachusetts.
